1. Do I have to participate in both the Tuesday and the Thursday Programs?
No. Classes are ala carte.
2. Are adults able to participate?
Yes, adults may participate in the 9-12 grade classes, as well as, the Extension programs and workshops.
3. Do I have to participate in the Tuesday/Thursday programs to enroll in an Extension program or workshop?
No, you can participate in any of the Extension programs regardless of involvement with the academics. Registration is handled directly with the instructor of that particular program.
4. How do I know what is covered in each class?
Please refer to the class descriptions for each program to understand what is included and covered in each class. Each class will have a syllabus to follow for the scope and sequence of lessons throughout the year.
5. What do I send in with my registration?
Please return all signed forms with your registration fee, class fees and tuition. This secures your child's place in their chosen classes and enables us to buy the necessary class materials. Classes will be confirmed as quickly as possible. That is why it is important to get your registration in to insure your class makes.
6. What about curriculum?
Descriptions of the program curriculums can be found on the website under Instructors. Each description has a link which will give you more information about that curriculum.The description information will also tell you whether there are any other fees associated with the class. Parents are responsible for obtaining curriculum unless otherwise indicated.
7. What if the minimum student requirement is not met?
We require a minimum of 6 students per class. This is designed to help keep the class fee low, while still enabling us to pay our teachers. There are no extras going to LIFE. The fees cover the teacher salaries and class supplies or copy costs. We try to work with our families any way we can. Our major objective is to support the homeschool community and serve as many children as we can.
