LIFE has been an excellent learning experience for my girls in ways I could not have imagined when I signed up for the program. In the past, my oldest daughter had struggled with writing. But the IEW class has been an inspiration for her and her writing ability blossomed! Even more amazing to me - now she loves to write. She even composed a poem - just for fun! My other daughter was timid about being in a classroom setting where "Mom" wasn't the teacher. As the year progressed I have seen her grow in confidence and become self-assured. I love the fact that the kids are doing hands-on science labs every week. Through LIFE my children have had the opportunity to participate in activities that weren't previously available to them, like the Science Fair and Volunteer Choir. Next year they are looking forward to Drama. LIFE has been a worthwhile addition to our school year and a valuable learning experience for my children.

Since this was my first year to homeschool, Lighthouse Academy has been an answer to prayers. Through the Academy, I have met dedicated parents and teachers who have similar goals in mind for their children. There is a wealth of information that they are willing to share on anything about homeschooling. At the Academy, my son who is in the 6th grade, has taken Spanish, Science lab, Excellence in Writing and Art and Music Appreciation in addition to the current full curriculum we are using. The classes are small which gives each child the personal attention that is so lacking in public schools today. If you are homeschooling now or considering it, perhaps you should check out Lighthouse. You will be very glad you did.

It has been a true joy to have LIFE, as a part of our church. How do you explain the spirit of watching all the children and their joy around a church house? In all my 28 years as a pastor this has been one of my greatest joys. LIFE has been all the things I thought they would be, a great tenant, a worthwhile activity, a respectful and courteous group of people, young and older, Would I recommend them? Absolutely without hesitation. They have been a wonderful blessing to our church. In closing, let me finish with this testimony. When we started this adventure as a church we didn't know for sure what would happen. We didn't know the cost. Well, let me tell you the truth, there hasn't been a cost, there has been a blessing. I thank the Lord the day LIFE approached us. We look forward to many days of blessing.
